SR&ED tax credits: maximize your return
The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit program is one of the most generous tax programs in Canada. However, many SMEs do not claim what they are entitled to due to a lack of time, resources or expertise. We take care of it for you.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between operational performance and change management?
Operational performance is concerned with the concrete functioning of the company: processes, indicators, structures, roles. Change management is one component of this work, but it is not enough on its own. At Progrès, we cover both: we structure AND support teams in the adoption of changes.
Is my business eligible for the SR&ED program?
Most SMEs that carry out product development, process improvement or technological experimentation activities are eligible for the SR&ED program, whether they are in the manufacturing, IT, food or other sectors. The first step is a free eligibility analysis with our team.
How long does an operational performance mandate last?
The length of time varies depending on the scope of the mandate and the complexity of your organization. An initial diagnosis usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. The implementation of solutions can take anywhere from 3 to 12 months. We are working in stages so that you can see concrete results quickly, even before the end of the mandate.
Do you work with SMEs outside of Montreal?
Yes. Although our office is in Montreal, we support SMEs throughout Quebec and Ontario. SR&ED mandates are carried out face-to-face or remotely depending on your situation.
How do your services differ from those of a large consulting firm?
Where large firms deliver a report to you, Progrès supports you in the execution. We are part of your team for the duration of the mandate. Our solutions are calibrated for SMEs: no complexity, no inflated budget, results that last over time.
